IQOS takes further steps towards a sustainable future

In 2018, we established two recycling hubs, in Europe and Asia, to ensure that device recycling is done to best practice standards. In 2019, our CIRCLE (Central Inspection and Recycling for a Closed Loop Economy) hubs processed over 150 tons of end-of-life devices and materials destined for recycling or energy recovery.

The ambition is that each device can be returned after use and recycled to the highest industry standards in every country where we market IQOS.

With each new generation of IQOS we apply even more sustainable practices.

IQOS users now have more opportunity to be part of the circular economy and to return a device that is broken, which will be recycled through IQOS take-back service, as part of our IQOS Care Plus service.
